What is the production process of the molding machine?
1) Feeding: according to the amount of materials that must be added to the mold, the amount of feeding directly affects the density and size of the products. If the feeding amount is large, the product has thick burr, poor scale, and cannot be demoulded, which may damage the mold; If the feeding amount is small, the products are not compact, the gloss is poor, and even produce waste materials due to material shortage.
(2) Mold closing: after feeding, the male mold and female mold are closed together. When clamping the mold, use it quickly first, and change it to slow speed when the female mold is touching the male mold quickly. The quick and slow operation steps are beneficial to reducing the non production time, avoiding the abrasion of the mold, preventing the material in the mold slot from being blown out by the gas due to too fast mold locking, and even making the insert offset and the forming rod damaged. When the die is closed, the pressure can be increased to heat and pressurize the material.
(3) Exhaust: When molding thermosetting plastics, water and low molecular substances are often released. In order to remove these low molecular substances, volatile substances and gas in the mold, after the plastic reaction in the mold cavity of the plastic mold develops to an appropriate time, the pressure can be released and the mold can be released for a very short time. The exhaust operation can reduce the curing time and improve the physical and mechanical effect of the product, and prevent stratification and bubbles from appearing inside the product; but the exhaust is too early, too early, too early The purpose of exhaust cannot be reached; If it is too late, the solidified gas on the material surface cannot be discharged.
(4) Curing: The curing of thermosetting plastics shall be carried out at the die temperature for a period of time to make the polycondensation reaction of the resin reach the required degree of crosslinking, and the products have the required physical and mechanical effects. The plastic with low curing speed can also be cured temporarily when the product can be completely demoulded, and then replaced with post-processing to complete the whole curing process; To improve the utilization rate of equipment. The curing time of the press mold is generally the time of pressure maintaining and heat preservation, which generally ranges from 30 seconds to several minutes, most of which do not exceed 30 minutes. Too long or too short curing time will affect the function of the product.
(5) Demoulding: Demoulding is generally completed by ejector rod. For products containing forming rods or some inserts, special tools shall be used to remove the forming rods, etc., and then demoulding shall be carried out.
(6) Mold purging: After demoulding, the mold cavity and mold surface are generally purged with air compression. If the fixtures in the mold are tight, they can also be combed with a copper knife or copper brush, or even need to be brushed with a polishing agent.
(7) Post treatment: In order to further improve the quality of products, thermosetting plastic products are often post treated at higher temperatures after demoulding. After treatment can make the plastic curing more thorough; Reduce or remove the thermal stress of the product together, reduce the moisture and volatile matter in the product, and improve the electrical action and strength of the product
